'stole' winning song Monday, May 14, 2007 COMMENT ON THIS STORY SERBIA'S victory celebrations in this year's Eurovision Song Contest have been marred by claims the track is a COPY of another song and accusations of eastern European block voting. Critics reckon Molitva, performed by Marija erifovic, is a rip-off of an old Albanian track. To see Eurovision controversy One man who has posted a video comparing the two songs side by side online told me: "I knew this Albanian song long ago. It won a popular song competition called Top Fest that is organised there yearly. "As soon as I heard Serbia's song I realised it was plagiarised. "I am not aware if they did it intentionally or not but the similarity was obvious." Meanwhile the awful SCOOCH - who finished second from last in the contest with just 19 points - and host TERRY WOGAN have claimed the vote was more about politics than singing. Terry said: "Block voting detracts and I don't think we'll end it. "But still, we only came second last. Unfortunately Ireland came last. And western European countries were left out in the cold, I'm afraid." Scooch member David added: "We hoped this year would be different with no 'old pals' act in the voting. "It was our best ever performance. We thought we'd really flown the flag for the UK but we were vote victims. It is a farce. "The best song never seems to win."

If serbs want peace for the serbs of Kosovo, then they should accept
the independent Kosovo. Why? Because serbs already killed many Albanians,
plus Albanians are 90% of the majority in Kosovo, and they are willing

(Shar, Prishtina, 27 February 2007, 10:35) 99 % of the Serbs in the world have never been in Kosovo and it is ridiculous to say Kosovo is your heart. Haha.!!! I am born in Kosovo and therefore Kosovo (together with the country I live in) is my heart and the heart of everyone born there. If the courts in Serbia and ICTY were impartial then they would have sentenced one Bosnjac/Croatian or Albanian for every 99. Serb. This is the truth and I know it hurts but it is 100 % truth and everyone knows who committed the most horrible massacres (since yesterday we can use genocide) in Balkans. ( Serbs in case you did not know it). I would like to see Serb readers comment the massacre of Bosnjacs in Strpci. I do not think they will do it because denying is a part of their strategy, and by denying everything they can commit such inhuman crimes again. If Serbia continues to have Kostunica and other nationalists as prime ministers I think Kosovo should sue Serbia for what they have done against Albanians. It is much easier for us to win since Milutinovic, president of Serbia is at Haag. (????, 27 February 2007, 13:52) Glad to see that serbian citizens are understanding the reality. They should spend more energy to think on building the bridges with albanians and be a good neighbour. The future must be in peace and prosperity. Serbian people is smart but they were missinterpreted by the politicians, I hope that they will understand the process of Kosova's indipendence as the best solution to solve the conflict between serbs and albanians.
