Zotërinj,

Më 28 nëntor, shqiptarët kanë festën e tyre më të madhe kombëtare. Shqiptarët këtë ditë shënojnë ngritjen e flamurit kombëtar dhe shpalljes së pavarësisë së Shqipërisë.
Shqipëtarët kremtojnë këtë ditë edhe me një hap më pranë integrimeve euro-atlantike. Shqiptarët, krahas ditës së Flamurit dhe ditëlindjes së Komandantit Legjendar të UÇK-së, Adem Jashari shënojnë edhe daljen në skenë të Ushtrisë çlirimtare të Kosovës që arriti bashkë me aleatët nga Perëndimi të realizojnë ëndërrën e shqiptarëve për çlirim nga pushtimi serb.

Edhe ne shqiptarët e mërguar do të shënojmë këto festa madhore duke u përkulur me respekt dhe nderim të veçantë para kujtimit të atdhetarëve të mëdhenj të kombit tonë, nga të gjitha viset shqiptare, të cilët, në themelin e shtetit vendosën jetën, dijet, pasurinë dhe gjithçka që kishin, të atyre atdhetarëve që sakrifikuan dhe luftuan me pushkë dhe me pendë për lirinë dhe pavarësinë e vendit. Kujtojmë të gjitha luftërat dhe heronjtë e kombit tonë, ata njerëz që e bënë historinë tonë nga veprat e të cilëve jemi frymëzuar e do të frymëzohemi përherë.
Shoqëria Shqiptare ILIRIA në Lyon të Francës, përgëzon shqiptarët për këtë ditë të rëndësishme të historisë duke uruar edhe rezultate edhe më të mëdha për nëntorin e ardhshëm.

Zotërinj,

Me një shqetësim të madh, jemi duke ndjekur zhvillimet në Maqedoni për shkak të veprimeve armiqësore të Maqedonisë ndaj bashkëkombasve tanë :
- Kur ne kremtojmë 95 vjetorin e kësaj date të rëndësishme të historisë së popullit tonë, në Republikën e Maqedonisë sillen ligje poshtëruese që ndalojnë përdorimin e flamurit tonë kombëtar;

- Kur ne duhet të kremtojmë Ditën e Flamurit, në Republikën e Maqedonisë flamuri përdoret për të varrosur viktimat e politikës antishqiptare të qeverisë aktuale;

- Kur ne duhet të kremtojmë Festat e Nëntorit, në Republikën e Maqedonisë shqiptarët janë në zi e pikëllim pas tragjedisë së Brodecit;

- Kur ne duhet të kremtojmë në mënyrë festive, në Republikën e Maqedonisë shqiptarët janë të ballafaquar me vrasje, burgosje, keqtrajtime, procese të montuara politike nga qeveria aktuale e Maqedonisë...;
Shqiptarët e Maqedonisë janë ballafaquar sistematikisht me dhunën politike dhe fizike që pushteti ushtron ndaj tyre.

Në emër të anëtarëve dhe bashkatdhetarëve tjerë që jetojnë në Lyon e rrethinë, ju nisim shqetësimet tona lidhur me fatin e kombit tonë në Maqedoni. Ju ftojmë që të ndërmerrni ç’është e mundur nga ana juaj për të parandaluar këtë terror shumëvjeçar të shtetit maqedon mbi shqiptarët autoktonë. Ju ftojmë të ngritni edhe ju zërin e arsyes dhe të kërkoni drejtësinë për shqiptarët që janë shtypur dhunshëm si asnjë popull tjetër në Evropë.

Maqedonia duhet të detyrohet që urgjentisht të :

-          Të lirojnë të gjithë të burgosurit civilë të pafajshëm,

-          Lejojë verifikim nga një komision ndërkombëtar për krimet në Brodec,

-          Të dënojë të gjithë përgjegjësit e krimit ndaj shqiptarëve në Maqedoni,

-          Të amnistojë të gjithë të burgosurit politikë shqiptarë,

-          T’u jipet e drejta shqiptarëve për përdorimin e flamurit kombëtar dhe simboleve tjera kombëtare,

-          Të rritet e drejta e shqiptarëve për pjesëmarrje në jetën publike dhe politike të Maqedonisë,

Duke shpresuar se edhe këtë herë do të keni mundësinë të veproni në drejtim të avancimit të drejtave të shqiptarëve në Maqedoni, ju nisim përshëndetjet më të përzemërta dhe konsideratat tona.

         BRODEC KILLINGS IN THE EYE OF WITNESSES

The Situation in Brodec a day after the police operation “Mountain Storm” on the first sight seems to be quiet but the residents of this village are so worried about all that they’ve experienced. At about 13.00 the police has permitted the media to visit the village. The police troops could be seen everywhere, from the beginning of the road that takes to the Highland Villages all the way to Brodec, where the action took place, which according to the official information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was to capture Lirim Jakupi, known as NACISTI. The residents of the village who could only get out of their houses after the arrival of TV crews, evidently concerned, claimed that they had no information on what had happened a day before in their village, because they had been sheltered in the basements of their houses. They said that they’ve heard gunshots all day long and six inhabitants of their village had been arrested by the police and sent towards an unkwnown direction.

Witness nr 1: They should release those detained civilians immediately, indeed.  They’re innocent, why were they captured? Why can’t their children know where their parents are?

 Witness nr.2: When we got out of the morning pray in the mosque we saw the helicopter flying over the village and started bombing.

Witness nr. 3: I didn’t get out since I was a bit ill, but I’ve heard lots of gunshots. It lasted for 5-6 hours.

Witness nr.4: We have small children here. They were frightened. They started to cry when they heard the bombs explosions.

The police informed that two members of the armed group were murdered inside the village, and two others in the forest near the village. The owner of the house where the two men were murdered, says he was horrified when he saw the blood all over his house.

 Witness nr. 5: I don’t even feel like living here anymore. As you can see it.

The police presented in front of the media a big amount of armament, which they claim was sequestrated inside the village and around it. Weapons of different kinds were found

 Journalist: The armament they’ve found, the one they exhibit, did it belong to those men of the armed group?

 Witness nr. 6: The Armament? No. Didn’t you see it was rusty?

Witness nr. 7: The armament doesn’t belong to the inhabitants. It’s not true. The macedonian police has brought and unloaded that armament there. The inhabitants here haven’t had any armament.

On our way back to Tetovo, we went past the village of Shipkovica. The inhabitants of this village were concerned as well for what had happened a day before in this are. The police armoured vehicles had hit every car aside the roads of this  village.

Witness nr. 8: Yesterday morning, we were getting ready to go to word, got on the car, we were inside the car when the armoured vehicles arrived. We couldn’t even get out of the car. They squashed and destroyed the car. As you can see it. We were so lucky to get out alive, I’ve also had some pupils in the car. I would like to appeal the minister, Refet Elmazi, to come here and see the reality, because he sad nobody was hurt, the armoured vehicle could have hurt us all, they were driving so fast on their way to Brodec, but luckily we survived. And to Gafur Adili, where is he, where’s his ANA, what does he keep it for?Does he plan to attack America or Iraq? Now we need that ANA, when we have such difficulties. The police has The police has entered the Albanian houses and they’ve done whatever they felt like.

Presenter:

After the police action in Brodec, a 4 year old boy is the only mail that remained in Ahmeti’s family. The head of the family with his two sons were arrested while the third sun returned back in a coffin. The family claims that injustice was committed towards them and that the weapon seized by police does not have anything to do with their family members.

Mother:

We will be waiting for Kushtrim to grow up, but who will grow up Kushtrim now?

Journalist :

Kushtrim is the only mail that remained in Ahmeti’s family in Brodec, Tetovo. The head of the family Izmit Ahmeti, together with his sons Habib and Florim Ahmeti were arrested during the police action in this village last Wednesday. Their younger son, Fisnik Ahmeti, 21 years old returned back home in a coffin.

Sister of Fisnik Ahmeti:

Poor mother, what can she do today?  She remained with her daughters and with her 4 year old sun. For the time being he is the oldest… he is the oldest. I had a father and three brothers. They closed our door. We will wait for Kushtrim to grow up, but who will grow up Kushtrim now??? Who will be our man??? We ask them to return them back to us without being mistreated, not as the one…. who was returned killed. They are bringing him back in a coffin. I do not see my father and the other brothers.  He is the only mail, my beloved. We have other children in cradles. Who will take care for them? How come that the Slavs were not ashamed of themselves?

Mother of Fisnik Ahmeti:

They took my husband Izmit together with the two sons. God knows where they were sent. They killed one of my sons. They are bringing him back to me in a coffin. They left me with 6 grandchildren. Three of one of my sons and three of the other son. They are all orphans now. How should I take care of them? They took my husband and sons from here. We do not know where they are, not at all.

Sister of Fisnik Ahmeti:

How come that they are not ashamed of themselves?  They brought so many tanks for four persons. They took my father and my three brothers. They brought so many armed vehicles. How come they are not embarrassed? Why  aren’t the internationals reacting?  You saw yourself that what happened. They raided, mistreated children…

Mother of Fisnik Ahmeti:

They brought tanks and loaded weapons around the streets. They came here, took some things and put them nearby the weapons. Why doing this? Taking out things from the walls and putting them near by the weapons. It cannot be like this.

Sister of Fisnik Ahmeti:

They also killed Nevzat. They found him on the street and they killed him. They killed him for no reason.

Mother:

They also killed others.

Sister of Fisnik Ahmeti:

They killed my brother, they killed Nevzat, they killed Ferat. They arrested many other innocent villagers. They call them terrorists. Who are they calling criminals? Do they have any facts to name them criminals. Criminals raid. Criminals kill. Criminals steal. How can they call an innocent person a criminal then???

Journalist:

 In Brodec, Tetovo two inhabitants of this village, Ferat Shahini, 20 year old and Fisnik Ahmeti, 21 year old were buried. They were killed during the police action “mountain storm”.  Inhabitants from all over Sharr mountain villages came to the burial. The family members of Ferat and Fisnik said that they were never members of the armed group. The armed group was positioned in Brodec without the wish of the villagers. 

Nazif Shahini, grandfather of Ferat Shahini:

 Did Macedonian police know that ten armed persons for 6 months were here? Were they aware about this?? Why they waited up to today??? For  5-10 persons that came to the village, to use artillery and hit  Brodec? Isn’t this embarrassing for the state?? They named 17-18 year old boys commanders!! For what kind of commanders they are talking about!!!??? These boys do not know what the weapon is. Police killed civilians… to fill the number. Where are those that escaped? Where are the others? Someone of our Albanian representatives said that the action was successfully completed. They should be ashamed.

Journalist:

 The family members of 13 arrested persons of Brodec are concerned for their relatives. They want to know where their family members are and how is their health condition.  According to them, since Wednesday they do not know anything about their family members.

Uzair Dervishi, the son of Halit Dervishi:

 Please, please a lot…At least we would like to see them. Today is Sunday and since Wednesday 5 days are gone. We do not have any information for them, neither phone call, neither we know what is going one with my father..

The other boy:

Regardless that he is his father. They are all our brothers. They are innocent. Police stated that they have not mistreated them. We have seen how they started to beat them up here. We can only image what they have done to them in their prison.

Journalist

In the burial were present Fazli Veliu, DUI MP, Bardhyl Mahmuti, President of the Albanian Democratic Union and Hisni Shaqiri, President of NDU.  The emergency comity of Brodec, that was established after police action that took place on 09th November, requested from the authorities to provide them with a doctor who will help to the women and children in order to overcome the trauma which they suffered  during police action.

TV NEWS 24 REPORT

On few websites on the internet very disturbing images of the six corpses of murdered Albanians in Brodec, Tetovo in Macedonia were recently published. (As  you may see in these scenes, the corpses of the Albanians are laying down on the ground, the corpse of Ramandan Shiiti among them. These images were obviously taken by a mobile phone camera, but so far no information has been given about the authorship of these images, taken in the presence of the Macedonian Special Units, which they also appear laughing above the casualties. Meanwhile, you still can see the dead bodies of the six Albanians murderd in Brodec, in Tetovo, arsenal of found weapons, and few shelters used by the armed groups. The Macedonian Ministry of Internal Affairs didn’t come yet with any statements about these images on the internet. Nobody knows where did these images come from and who was the person who has recorded after the murder of the six Albanians in the village of Brodec, in Tetovo.

 Witness: I was misused as a human shield by police.

Journalist: How did they misuse you?

Witness: Police was behind me and I was in a cross fire. All this took place in front of 9 children.  6 are my kids while 3 of my brother.
